By 9 a.m. on May 15 the City Election Commission has completed the registration of voting bulletins. The city's acting Governor Vladimir Yakovlev has received over 72% of the votes. A united candidate of the "Yabloko" and Association of Rightist Forces (SPS) parties, Igor Artemiev, has finished second with slightly below 15% of the votes. Deputy Chairman of the Accounting House Yuri Boldyrev is third with 3.79%. Voters' show up has reached only 47.59%, but St. Petersburg's Governor election legislation does not provide for a 50% validity barrier.
