JSC "Central Research Institute of Ship Devices"

   JSC "Central Research Institute of Ship Devices", created in 1970, is one of the leaders of Russia's national machine-building industry. It is the leading enterprise involved in the development, testing and application of ship machines and mechanisms used on practically all of Russia's civil and navy ships.
   Possessing a powerful scientific and technological potential, using Proletarsky Factory's highly technological production facilities, the Institute carries out the entire machine-building process, from research and development to manufacturing and supplies. It also provides warrantee and service repairs of mechanisms in operation.
   The Institute has created numerous samples of ship mechanisms, devices and aggregates. Many of these have no analogues in Russia and are highly competible abroad.
   The Institute's developments include:

• take-off and landing complexes for aircraft carriers and complexes for transporting helicopters on ship docks;
• underwater remote control manipulation devices;
• complexes for transferring dry and liquid cargoes between ships in motion;
• steering machines and devices, regulated rowing screws and shaking reduction devices for various types of ships;
• various devices for hydraulic systems, including hydro motors and high-pressure pumps;
• ship cranes of various capacities;
• various anchor and mooring mechanisms;
• various cargo lifters;
• equipment for preparation and distillation of sea water;
• lifting and lowering devices.

   Aside from ship devices, the enterprice outputs the following non-traditional products:

• underground booring machines with variable booring angle for the extraction of heavy oil;
• a broad variety of lifting devices for metallurgy;
• self-propelled devices for repairing and mounting suspension brackets on electrified railroads;
• support and turning structures for space communication antennas.

    Central Research Institute of Ship Devices has cooperated in the areas of research, production and business with companies from the U.S., Britain, Germany, Japan, China, India, Singapore, Vietnam, and from other countries.
   The Institute has a long and fruitful work experience and is always open to mutually advantageous cooperation with domestic and foreign partners.
