Simonov Valentin Nikitich.

   General Director of JSC Krasniy Viborgets.
   Born on October 18, 1937 in Leningrad in a working-class family. In 1958 has graduated from the Leningrad Industrial Technology College and in 1967 from the Leningrad Mining Institute with a major in non-ferrous metal technology. He repeatedly attended professional-level classes at various financial colleges in Leningrad as well as abroad and went quite a long way to being a director. After the merger of the Voroshilov Foil Plant, where he has worked for 27 years, with "Krasniy Viborgets" Simonov has become the Production Director. In 1985 he became the Deputy General Director and two years later was elected General Director. Simonov holds the title of an "Honoured Mettalurgist of Russia", he has written a book in this field and has authored 25 inventions. He has been decorated with 5 medals and the "Badge of Honour" Order. Simonov is currently a member of many industrial and commercial organizations.
