Creative Achievements of "JEWELLAND" Holding.
By this moment Moscow international jewelry exhibition "Jeweler 2004" has become the historic event. It was a real festival of jeweller's art.
General Director of "Jewelland" holding Alexander Iosifovich Andryushkevich estimates this exhibition as important positive event for the whole jewelry industry. As for the company, the holding's development dynamics was evident this year as never before and its positions at jewelry market has become considerably stronger.
The major result of the "Jewelland" managers activities at this brilliant exhibition was signing numerous contracts for wholesale supply of jewelry. Nevertheless each developing company always sets itself the most important task, the solution of which is approached slowly and carefully and which is usually entrusted to the most talented and skillful masters. As for the holding this most important task is production of exclusive jewelry. Such things are usually produced for exhibitions, contests or by individual orders.
This autumn in Sokolniki "Jewelland" presented nine items produced by the best company's jewelers to participate in the contest held within the limits of the exhibition. And the result was unprecedented – eight of nine items were awarded with diplomas in different nominations. The most significant of them was the diploma in the "Evening ornament" nomination for the collection of jewelry including "Gems of Versailles" earrings, "Autumn Petersburg" necklace and "New classic" necklace.
The master of "Gems of Versailles" earrings was a young and talented jeweler Alexei Vladimirovich Blinov who unfortunately perished in automobile accident this June. Those earrings is the latest and the best of his works which raised a special interest both among the masters and the managers of different companies. These majestic ear-rings are blew noble sapphires are mounted in white gold. That is why, perhaps, brilliants set around them are so tender. Such earrings are undoubtedly designed for a beautiful lady with kingly carriage and fine taste.
The author of "Autumn Petersburg" necklace is Andrei Andreyevich Silayev, jeweler with 30 years of experience. The necklace is kept up in warm autumn-like colour spectrum of Saint-Petersburg gardens and parks. Citrines introduce the prevalence of yellow-orange, less by size green chrysolites are sophisticated to harmoniously emphasize them, and the brilliants scattered to make the first row of the necklace try timidly remind about winter that is close with its snow and ice.
A.A. Silayev is only the creator of jewelry but he is also a teacher for young promising masters. For the jeweller's art it is the best training: when the skills are transferred from a teacher to the pupil.
Even one sight at the "New classic" necklace made of white gold and decorated with brilliants is enough to estimate the sophisticated beauty of the work at its true worth. As for "Decoration for men" nomination the diploma was awarded to the collar buttons "Oligarch". A brilliant in the center of a golden ring, sparkling brilliant line at the edge of the article and white enamel coating of the free space produce the effect of respectability. One more nomination – "Avant-guard style decorations" was awarded to a collection of rings "Debut line" made of white gold with white and black brilliants. And in "Decoration for children" nomination the diploma was awarded to the necklace "Seven colored flower".
On finalization of the exhibition all these articles will be presented at brand salons of "Jewelland" holding located in the department store "Miller-center" and newly reconstructed "Svetlanovskyi" Trade World, where they undoubtedly will find their buyer. Probably it will not happen very soon as those are elitist and very expensive things.
I asked Andrei Andreyevich Silayev:
— Which of a great number of jewelry you have produced in your life is the most significant and dear for you?
The jeweler smiled and answered:
— Which one? Only that I am producing at this moment!
