    Born December 11, 1930 in Kiev.
    Graduated from the Kiev Musical School as a hautboy player.
    Worked at the theatres of different cities. From 1970- at the Leningrad Maly Drama Theatre.
    Since 1980 has been an actor of the Akimov Academic Comedy Theatre. Has the leading roles at the Theatre. Benny in "Difficult People" is among his latest roles.
    Since 1997 has been acting together with Dmitry Dmitriev in "Don Pedro". Participated in more then hundred films and TV films ("It Can not Be", "Magicians", "Beloved Woman of Mechanic Gavrilov", "Anonymous Star", etc).
    National Actor of Russia.
    Married with daughter.
