Dmitriev Igor Borisovich
Actor at the Akimov Academic Comedy Theatre.
Born May 29,1929 in Leningrad.
Graduated from the Nemirovich-Danchenko school-studio at the Maly Artistic Academic Theatre.
Since 1949 has been an actor at the Komissarzhevskaya Drama Theatre.
Since 1967 has worked at the "Lenfilm" film studio and simultaneously since 1984- at the
Comedy Academic Theatre.
"Telyatev" ("Crasy Money"), "Freddy" ("Freddy"), "Mario Antoniotti" (A Night in Venice")
are among his latest roles at the theatre.
He has had about 100 film parts including in "The Quiet Don", "The Ploughed Up Vergin
Soil", "Hamlet", "The Dauriya", "Anna Pavlova, "The Golden Mine", "The Adventures of
Prince Florizel", "Silva" and "Dog on the Hay" etc.
Often works for television.
National Actor of Russia.
Awarded the Order of Honour (1997).
Married with son.
