    Born September 21, 1964 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute in 1989. From 1985 worked for such newspapers as "Lenin Iskry", "Smena", "Russland und Deutchland", "St. Petersburg Echo".
    Since 1994 has been Chief Editor of the "Smena" newspaper.
    Winner of the St.Petersburg and CIS Journalists Union Prizes.
