Vyunov, Vladimir Isayevich
Commander of the Northwest Boundary Troops.
Born November 30, 1947 in a Kalinovskoe village, Alexandrovsky district, Stavropol area.
Graduated from the Frunze Military Academy, and from Military Academy of the Military forces Headquarters of the USSR.
Has held all the command positions, from the post of Deputy Chief of a Border Post to the Commander of the Boundary Troops.
Has served in the Transcaucasian and Pacific Border Troops and the Central Border forces.
From July, 1988 was the Chief of Military Headquarters of the Northwest Boundary Troops and from August 1992 -Commander of Troops.
General- Colonel.
Awarded the Order of Red Star and medals.
Married with son and two daughters.
