Adaschik Nikolay Borisovich

   Chairman of the public organization "Towards the New Millennium".
   Born on May 17, 1960, in Stavropolsky Kray. When studying at school won town and regional Olympiads on physics and mathematics. On reading some books on cybernetics, started dreaming about informational society and entered the Leningrad Institute of Aviation Instrument-Making in 1977; graduated with the speciality "engineer/system analyst".
   After graduation came back to the native town. Till 1988 developed software to provide testing and reliability of sophisticated systems in the North Caucasus Institute of Communication and Management Systems, making a career from a common engineer to a leading engineer.
   In 1988 Adaschik decided to engage himself in innovation and implementation activity and established the youth centre of scientific and technical creativity Pulse. In 3 years he founded about 700 "Phytopreventionism" centres in the former USSR. Technologies of wastes recycling were implemented at some galvanic production enterprises, an independent company was established, tens of scientific developments were introduced to different fields of economy (including consumer goods), hundreds of orders for designing were executed.
   Besides business activity, Adaschik was occupied with creativity and public work, development and implementation of social innovations.
   In May 1988 headed the Association of the North Caucasus Centres, in 1990 was elected Presidium Member of the USSR Innovation Enterprises Union.
   An active participant of international and Russian ecological movements. Organizer of the first international Earth Day (April 22, 1990) in USSR and ecological actions "The Park of the 44th Parallel" (1990-1993), "Elbrus-91" (1991-1993).
   In 1989-1991 financed and directed conception development of the Association of Caucasus Mineral Waters Towns establishing. The conception became the base for the program "Revival of Caucasus Mineral Waters (CMW)" and signing of a Presidential decree in March 1992. A member of the public-scientific council of "A Particularly Protected Ecological and Resort RF Region - CMW". Initiator of establishing the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in CMW region, a member of the administration.
   In 1998-2000 - councillor of a "Peacemaking Mission in the North Caucasus".
   Since 1991 Adaschik was an active organizer of the new millennium celebration in Russia, in the Ukraine and in the world.
   Developed the following projects: "The Earth's House", "Flight into the Third Millennium", "The Ladder to the Third Millennium", the conception "The Ukraine - Towards the Third Millennium", "St. Petersburg - Towards the Third Millennium". Since August 1998 - Deputy Chairman of the all-Ukraine public organization "Toward the Third Millennium", since February 1999 - Chairman of the public organization "Towards the Third Millennium" (St. Petersburg). An initiator of establishing of the third millennium international committee (1999).
   In November 2000 Adaschik participated in the world's congress "Millennium Results", where he made a report "Humanity Unification based on Information Technologies as One of the Millennium Results". Also he presented the project of the monument "Unification".
   In April-May 2000 developed the project of "Internet Users Union Manifesto", which became the base for Internet Users Union establishment (www.spi.e-www.ru).
   In January 2001 Adaschik became a member of the Global Alliance of the Festival Planetary Vision 2001 (www.PlanetaryVision.net), uniting 11 international organizations, priority activity of which was development of planetary consciousness, concept and ethics. On March 20, 2001 co-ordinated organization of the World's Day Of Planetary Consciousness, in celebration of which 24 countries participated.
   Adaschik is an author and developer of a new direction of planetary architecture: "The Park of the 44th Parallel" (1990), "Earth's Houses" (1993), the monument "Unification" (1999-2000, www.im.e-www.ru), Planetary Park 2001" (2001, www.PlanetaryPark.org), as well as a number of original projects: "Millennium Clock" (started in the Ukraine by Ukraine President on December 31 2000 at the moment of the New Millennium beginning), the "First Minute of the Millennium" (www.mm.e-www.ru, realized in St. Petersburg at 3 p.m. on December 31.12.2000).
   Since 2000 Adaschik has been developing a new sport game - duyball, which he conceived in the 90th (www.e-schools.ru/duyball). About 20 tournaments have been already held with participation of approximately 15 000people. This game develops breathing and propagandizes the idea of non-violence as the main idea of human development in the 21st century. In 2001 duyball was included into the RF State program "Nation's Health".
   Married. Has two sons.
