Poloskin Boris Pavlovich
Composer-performer.
Born on February, 18, 1932 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute. Engineer-researcher. The candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. The senior lecturer of the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Management.
While studying in the Institute Boris together with his two friends Oleg Scherbinin and Yuri Ilmenkov organized an ensemble. Boris Poloskin plays seven-stringed guitar. He began to compose songs in 1956 (mainly to his own lyrics). Resently began to write prose. His stories are published in periodicals. The laureate of the I and III competitions of tourists' songs in Brest for the song "Music waites" (1965, 1967), and of the first competition of tourists' songs in Moscow for the song "What to do with grief"(1965). A judge of the III and X Grushin's festivals. A member of the Club of songs "East". A record "Like a breeze on a rye field" was released by "Melody" firm in 1989. Audiocassettes "I am in love" and "Birch letter" (1997). A book "Let's record a song" (2000).
