Grebenshikov Boris Borisovich
Singer, composer, poet.
Born on November 27, 1953. Graduated from the department of applied mathematics and systems administration processes of the Leningrad State University. Upon graduation took a great interest in music under the Beatles’ influence. Actively participated in the Leningrad Rock Club. He created the “Aquarium” band in 1973. From the mid-eighties on he works in the recording studios of the Western Europe and the United States. Author of the soundtrack to Sergei Soloviev’s films “Assa”, “Black rose – symbol of sadness, red rose – symbol of love”, “A house under a starry sky”.
“Aquarium”, with a renewed cast of musicians, tours in Russia and abroad.
Boris Grebenshikov has a son.
