Konetsky Victor Viktorovich
Writer, Film scenario writer.
Born June 6, 1929 in Leningrad. His Father was an inspector at the regional
prosecutor's office.
Graduated from the Marine School, and then from the Navigator's Faculty at the First Baltic naval
Academy (1952).
Served on rescue ships of the North Fleet.
Retired in 1955.
Worked as a captain in the Arctic Region, and as a navigation officer on deep-sea
navigation courts.
From 1955 to 1958 was taken on by the Leningrad publishing house "The Soviet Writer".
Has been working as a professional writer since 1956.
Author of the books "Frozen Wires", "In Inland Waters", Pastime cares", "Portraits with
a Marine Landscape".
Author and co-author of such scripts for the films: "Striped Voyage", "A path to Mooring",
and "Thirty Three"
Honourary Chairman of the Public Council "300 years to the Russian Fleet".
Awarded the Red Banner Order of Labour, and the Orders of Sign of Honour".
