At present Petrotrest takes part in house-building of the total area 119953 sq. m. as a general contractor and general investor.

In December 2000 Petrotrest got the Certificate of Reliability as a part of the program of the Expert Council for Determination of Construction Companies' Reliability. The examination was carried out by:

• the Licence Chamber of St. Petersburg;

JSC Petrotrest was established on October 16, 1990. At first Petrotrest specialized in repair of different buildings. During several years the company had the following clients: Severny Zavod plant, Eskalator plant, cafes, restaurants, banks. The works were carried out with high quality, in time and at a low price. This enabled the St. Petersburg officials to contract Petrotrest for construction of houses and other socially important objects. Cooperation with the Construction Committee is still continuing.

Recently the house range has considerably enlarged. If in the beginning houses of 600.11series were built, now Petrotrest has mastered houses 606M, 504D, 138 as well as brick and monolithic houses. The geography of construction has changed a lot also: besides Primorsky district, houses are built in Vyborsky and Nevsky districts as well.

All the works carried out by Petrotrest are properly licensed. As the company expands, it gets new licenses after a relevant inspection. So the volume of construction has increased and consequently the number of flats for sale also, and a license for real estate activities has been received with the management granted with relevant certificates and employees of the realty department, who directly work with clients, granted with qualification certificates of the Institute of Realty.

A housing complex in Primorsky District constructed and put into maintenance, a license for buildings and facilities maintenance was received. All the constructed houses are maintained by the company itself, which is very convenient with their lodgers.

Petrotrest actively participated in the international conference Investments-2001 and was granted with a diploma for a special contribution into creating a favourable investment climate in the North-West Region of Russia; in the international construction forum Interstroyexpo (diploma), St. Petersburg Economic Forum (diploma). Besides, the company took part in MIPIM-2001 (Cannes) and NEPIX-2001 (Copenhagen) exhibitions as a member of St. Petersburg delegation
