   Born in 1955 in Ukraine.
   In 1978 graduated from the Leningrad Palmiro Togliatti engineering and economy college as a planning engineer.
   Worked in Kaliningrad at "Fakel" construction department of Ministry of general engineering, where he held posts from an engineer to a deputy director of the enterprise.
   Since 1992 has worked in various commercial banks.
   Since 1993 - President of Kaliningrad's "Energotransbank".
   Since May 1997 - executive of "Alpha-Bank" office in St. Petersburg.
   Vitaly Riabov is married, his son Eugene is 24, his grandson Ilya is 5 and his daughter Dasha is 17. He has a scotch terrier. His main hobbies are music and reading, primarily bardic songs and poetry.
