JSC Inkasstrakh was established in 1991 on the initiative of the Central Bank of Russian Federation (CB of RF) to provide insurance protection of transportation performed by the Russian association of payments collection of CB of RF all over Russia.

The Russian association of payments collection is among five largest transporting companies in the world. The association includes 77 subsidiaries, which perform transportation of 40 % cash turnover of the whole country, which in its turn determined the position of Inkasstrakh among first ten transportation insurance companies of Russia. The Russian association of payments collection and JCK Inkasbank are the main shareholders of JSC Inkasstrakh.

The company is closely connected with Inkasbank by their business cooperation. Inkassrakh provides insurance of hypothecation, responsibility of bank employees, transportation of wealth, currency exchange centres, motor cars, etc.

According to Aleksander Patrushin, director of the Petersburg subsidiary, the company's slogan "...what gives you confidence..." defines the main purpose of the Inkasstrakh - to provide a high level of company's reliability. To this end the company has been maintaining reinsurance contracts with the world's largest corporation Lloyd (transportation performed by RosInkass), the Munich Reinsurance Association, Cologne Reinsurance Association, Aljans Group and several tens of the most reliable Russian insurance companies.

The company works not only with Russian association of payments collection and JSC Inkasbank. During the last two years, with the help of its branches (there are 20 of them already), the company managed to attract new clients, the share of which increased from 10% till 55%. At present the strategy of Inkassrakh is based on the following principles:

• Subsidiary policy of the company is based on the principle "money of regions should work on the local level".
