Makarov Vladimir Valentinovich

   Director of ERICON SOFT company since its foundation in 1992.
   Born April 29, 1961 in the town of Zheltye Vody, Ukraine.
   Graduated from Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute's Faculty of Automatics and Computer Technology in 1984.
   After graduation worked at D.V. Efremov Electrophysics Equipment Science Research Institute. His work involved automated modelling of electronic schemes and of physical processes.
   Since his student years, V.V. Makarov has had a number of research articles in this subject area printed in various publications.
   Married. Has a 5-year-old daughter named Rita.
   Actively involved in sailing sport. V.V. Makarov has won and received awards at international contests. Enjoys parachuting.
